think on it guys! this is our LAST DAY as STUDENTS at UVA pre-Sophian era. when we come back, we'll be all internationally-linked/globally-awarized. we will never get back this last few tortorous days of finals, quietly biding our time until we can hop on a plane and go to a country where we have to speak in a foreign language or else be lost. *sigh*
i think all of us will be coming back as 4th years, so... yeah... i feel like this is a very "special" day for all of us. end of finals. end of 3rd year. beginning of the Sophian-era. beginning of 4th year. whooooooooot!!!
kk, that's all i wanted to say! good luck today everybody!!! *CHEERS*

Ehhhhhhhhhh, end of 3rd year alreadyyyyyy...................
Though it doesn't strike me too hard it pinged a bit...
Dell dude just took my computer away... he said it was $75 to back up the hard drive....... I told him not to..... 'cause I sorta have it backed up at home and on my external, but don't have this one sci-fi story I have been working on for yearssss =(::::::
AAAAHHHHHHHHHH I'M SO SCARED IT'LL BE LOST............!!!!!!!! It was to be my hidden legacy... something that I was going to force into the studios so that cartoons would forever be changed... is this the end for it... my dream....??????
Sorry that was so dramatic, but seriously, over anything that's on that computer I would want that kept...
Man, did this reply have almost nothing to do with the post or what???
Yay for ends!
WHY HAVEN'T THE NEW ROCK BAND SONGS COME OUT YET IT'S TUESSSDAAAYYYY!!!
It's bittersweet, isn't it? It was a little too soon for me to be looking around at the fourth years I know, thinking I might not ever see them again. But, alas, that is what the Facebook is for, I suppose.
Gregory, I'm so sorry to hear about the potential fate of your story. I hope it's returned to you safely, but if not, then I hope you don't let it destroy your dream and you instead are given the opportunity to recreate your story, recalling only the most memorable and moving aspects of the plot and characters in order to craft a revision of such quality previously unimaginable and unattainable from the confines of the writings to which your heart already belonged.
If it hasn't been properly conveyed yet, I have completed my last final and am through with writing useless lines of literary analysis, media analysis, and media theory, and may instead now let the waters of my imagination break through the dam of assignment and examination, flowing freely to all the tributaries of thought, explored without restrictions of coherency or citation or reprimand from my English major or a TA to the tune of "This sentence is WAY too long!" I am Meriwether, floating down the Ohio of my mind.
Anyway. The lovely Mary Jo Bateman has informed me that Chris is out of the country for the time being, and she thus took the liberty of contacting Sophia on my behalf, at which point it was revealed that I am responsible for the arrangements of my housing, DK House included. Cross you fingers, dear friends, that I may successfully charm and impress and force by way of personally-displacing-other-residents my way into said House with little difficulty.
If the winter break begins for any of you without another comment from me, which I find highly doubtful at this rate of babbling on my part, then I wish you a safe return to your proper place of residence and the merriest of holidays.
Longwindedly,
Natalie
Man, I love your writing. I try to do that often, too... not now, I suppose, but often... usually when trying to sway people into coming to events...
But thank you, I am inspired by your speech, as my document was sadly erased.
You should charm them by speaking as you write. It's so epic, how could anyone possibly refuse??????
Hahah YES.
These were some crazy comments. I agree with Gregory. About your writing, Natalie, and how you should charm the Donkey Kongers into letting you into their house.
And I am sorry about your story, and computer too Greg. If only I could convey that like Natalie did. Well actually, she took the words straight out of my mouth.
Haha, it pinged.
