Hey, I need to know how much money everyone is planning on bringing initially in terms of both traveler's cheques (I like that way better) and in terms of yen. Quick!

1200, about 70/30 in traveler's cheques and cash. but i don't know about the yen bit. when's the best time to change currencies when you're in your own country or when you're in the other country?
I just brought cash.. in USD..... Not too smart I bet..
Hi from Seoul, Korea btw! Just arrived. If you have transfers, which it doesn't seem like you guys do since all of you are coming over together and was able to avoid taking United, DON"T LET THEM CHECK YOUR CARRY ON AT THE BOARDING GATE! -_- I am now carry-on-less and it had all my textbook/japanese stuff! T_T It's probably punishment for not having studied earlier -_-

Oh yeah! We're showing Japan how hip-hop is done! We could...dance down the runway, mwaahha!
There's still two eps left of dance show I think... tomorrow night it's down to Kaba, Jabba, and Status Quo. I think in the end it'll be Kaba and Jabba, but Kaba was in the bottom two last week, so who knows!! I'll have to watch the final ep online in Japan! Oooh and they've started doing opening numbers with all the crews, it's really sweet =)
Ok I just went and got $1500 in traveler's checks.. although the lady didn't tell me not to date them, and the date was right next to the signature she told me to do, so I dated them and she was like "oh..you weren't supposed to date them.." so I think I'll try and get them cashed on the 28th so I can change all my 20's to 28's and none will be the wiser...
Plus I have 5000 yen that Nick gave me from his last visit! I'll probably carry some US cash as well.
Haha, I'll have to watch ALL the episodes online in Japan. And how clever about the date-changing ;)

And Teresa, I don't know what the problem is, I just did mine through editing the header page element and clicked it to replace the title and description and it worked... Keep trying? I guess you can check the size of your banner or something. /Shrug :/

I have 8000yen and a ton of coins from when I was there last, and wasn't planning on exchanging more here...

how do i get a banner to show up on my blog? i keep trying to get it uploaded and all i have is this random white blank space.
